Feeding Pillow

Our Wool Roots nursing pillow is the perfect companion during nursing to help both you and your baby be comfortable and cozy. Additionally, our nursing pillows can be used for tummy time, sitting-up, and playtime. We fill our pillows with 100% Oeko-Tex certified wool that is not treated with any chemicals or synthetic materials. They are handcrafted with love and are available encased with all-natural fabric including wool, linen and cotton. Each nursing pillow comes with a washable, 100% GOTS certified organic jersey cotton slipcover and a 100% cotton carrying/storage bag.

Wool is sustainable, renewable and biodegradable. It is naturally breathable, body temperature regulating, and is soft yet durable. Wool is naturally resistant to stains, water, dust mites and fire making all of our wool nursing pillow the healthiest choice for peaceful nursing or playing sessions. With proper care, our wool pillows will last for generations. All of our wool comes from sheep raised on small family farms where sheep graze freely in the mountains of Bulgaria. Our practice is sustainable and our products, after lasting generations and they are well-worn and well-loved, are biodegradable.

All of our products are handmade and therefore may have a slight variance in size or shape (Within less than 5% of spec.) We put time and love behind our products.

Care instructions

A well-cared for Wool Roots nursing pillow can last a lifetime. Our nursing pillow comes in wool, linen, or cotton shell with a zipper. A washable 100% GOTS certified organic cotton case is also provided.

The nursing pillow as a whole is NOT washable but can be freshened when aired outside in ample sunshine. If washing the shell is necessary please remove the fill before washing.. Reinsert fill only when shell is completely dry.

Case
Machine wash warm with like colors. Tumble dry low. Warm iron, if needed.

Shell
Wool: Handwash on cold with wool detergent. Air dry or lay flat to dry. Cool iron, if needed.

Linen: Handwash on cold with mild detergent. Air dry or lay flat to dry. Cool iron, if needed.

Cotton: Machine wash warm with like colors. Tumble dry low. Warm iron, if needed.
